SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV) – A man was arrested in Sparks on Monday after being wanted for multiple offenses including assault with a deadly weapon. 35-year-old Christopher Townsend came to the attention of the repeat offender program due to a domestic related assault with a deadly weapon that occurred in the late evening on January 31. Townsend reportedly threatened physical violence with a knife against his girlfriend in the 2500 block of Dickson Road in Reno.
