SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) – A man has been convicted on one count of domestic battery after he assaulted his girlfriend in January. On Jan. 12, officers with the Sparks Police Department responded to the Vista Mart gas station on reports of a domestic battery. It reportedly involved a female victim who had been assaulted by her boyfriend and was bleeding from the nose.
