RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Wes McQuillen has been playing bass since the 6th grade. It wasn’t his first choice, but he learned to saddle up to the instrument and became pretty proficient at it. He majored in music during his college years, played in various groups and genres and eventually hoped to perform in a philharmonic one day.
