The bear, nicknamed “Nugget,” will be rehabilitated with the eventual goal of being released back into the wild. The bear injured in the Davis Fire, nicknamed “Nugget,” has been transported to Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary and Nature Center for continued care and rehabilitation, with hopes of releasing him back into the wild.
