Reno’s newest Chipotle at the Shayden Summit mall now has an official opening date — Monday, Sept. 30.
The fast casual restaurant, which will have a “Chipotlane” drive-thru to pick up digital orders, plans a grand opening at the end of this month, the company confirmed.
It’s opening in time for Chipotle’s latest promotion: Mexican-inspired smoked brisket is on the menu for a limited time.
The store will bring about 30 jobs. Applicants can go to the south Reno Chipotle’s hiring page to apply.
The new location at 13911 S. Virginia St. is Chipotle’s sixth in Reno-Sparks since opening its first one in 2014 . Chipotle also opened its first store with a Chipotlane in Reno at the West End Commons in 2022.
Store hours are 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
