RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – They say dog is man’s best friend. But, for one Reno boy, his dog is so much more. Two years ago, Ruth Gentry and her son Roan, were mourning the loss of their two elderly shelter dogs. Ruth admits she wasn’t ready to get a new dog, but Roan, was having a hard time adjusting to life without one.
