A body was pulled from the Truckee River over the holidays, with another body of a missing man recovered from Pyramid Lake on Wednesday.
Just after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Reno fire crews responding near the Wells Avenue bridge pulled a body from the river, according to Jerry Kosak, battalion chief with the Reno Fire Department.
Five engines, a ladder truck and two boat rigs, including 29 personnel, were at the scene.
The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner will release the name of the person after its investigation.
Body recovered from Pyramid Lake
A man’s body was recovered from Pyramid Lake on Wednesday, the Pyramid Lake Police Department said on Facebook.
At 11:21 a.m. Tuesday, the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe reported aircraft was over the lake searching for a person in the lake as emergency crews worked from the ground.
No other information was released.
