Slim Chickens is pecking its way into Reno.
The chicken tender chain is constructing a new store in the Biggest Little City, its first within the city of Reno.
Where is the new Reno Slim Chickens location?
The store is under construction at Damonte Ranch Town Center, where an orange Slim Chickens sign can be seen with the words “Coming Soon” on a wire fence. Just a few feet away, construction equipment can be seen moving dirt near several workers. The sign did not include a completion date for the project.
The upcoming Slim Chickens store is located between the CVS Pharmacy and Roberto’s Taco Shop on Steamboat Parkway.
The Damonte Ranch location will be welcome news for Slim Chickens aficionados who live in south Reno. Reno residents currently need to drive all the way to Los Altos Parkway in Sparks, home of the area’s first location, which opened in 2023, to get their Slim Chickens fix. The only other Slim Chickens store in the state is in Henderson.
