RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Nevada Department of Transportation and Greyhound have announced a new route that will connect Reno and Salt Lake City.
The new route launches today, March 18, and will also restore services to rural Nevada communities, such as Battle Mountain, Elko, Winnemucca, and West Wendover.
“Expanding transportation access in rural Nevada is critical for improving mobility and economic opportunities,” said Karina Frayter, head of corporate affairs at Flix North America. “This new route demonstrates the power of public-private collaboration, where state agencies and private operators work together to create transportation solutions that benefit the community.
