RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Dozens of people staying at the Reno Suites weekly motel downtown are moving out ahead of a weekend deadline as the developer behind the major Harrah’s redevelopment project readies to begin construction.
Guests have until 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 30 to be out of their rooms, a deadline that was extended by the new ownership group after the previous ownership group gave guests a much sooner deadline.
In a March 12 letter from new developer Ahlquist Development, CEO Tommy Ahlquist apologized for the confusion, extended the deadline until the end of the month and told guests they could continue to stay until that date free of charge…
