UNLV students attend Nevada’s 83rd Legislative Session

As the 83rd Nevada Legislative Session unfolds in Carson City, students at UNLV are taking an active role in observing and participating in the state’s legislative process. With major decisions being made on education funding, housing policies and workforce development, student engagement in the legislative process has never been more critical.

Unlike many states where legislatures meet annually, Nevada’s legislative sessions occur only once every two years.
