Ewe won’t believe it: Sheep munch away at Reno’s wildfire worries in Arrowcreek area

In an innovative approach to wildfire prevention, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service is enlisting the help of hundreds of sheep to graze in the Arrowhawk Fuels Reduction Project area near Reno’s Arrowcreek Community.

This initiative, which kicked off Monday, April 28, is part of a proactive fire mitigation program.
