SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The City of Sparks is inviting the public to submit names for its new permanent art piece located on Victorian Avenue.
The recently installed sculpture was partially funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and is part of the Together We See Sparks Creative Placemaking Plan.
City officials say artist Jim Gallucci’s design was chosen after months of public feedback and reflects the history and character of Sparks. He chose not to name the piece so that the community could take part in the creativity…
