Candice Peragus spent three and a half hours of her day off waiting to get her REAL ID.
She said she’d been checking her phone for updates on how long until was until her turn as sat outside the Reno DMV on Tuesday, May 6, the day before the new identification was required to get through the Transportation Security Administration screening at the airport.
“They have this estimated time on your phone,” Peragus said. “It’s been 12 minutes when I got here, and it says three minutes now, but it’s been three and a half hours.”…
