Update: Driver dies after being extricated from car

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Updated at 6:20 p.m.: The Reno Fire Department extricated the driver of a car that rear-ended a box truck Wednesday, May 7, in Stead. The person was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead, according to Reno Police Department Sgt. Adam Blount.

The two-vehicle collision happened at 12:02 p.m. near the intersection of Moya and Lear boulevards.
