CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – The Carson City School District is issuing a warning over a social media challenge of damaging school laptops.
They say the Chromebook Challenge, or the Chromebook Durability Test asks students to jam pencil graphite or other metals into the laptop’s charging port, or to stab the batteries to short out the device, creating a fire risk.
