Crews responded to a brush fire off of Pyramid Highway and Ironwood Road caused by a blown tire on Friday afternoon.
According to Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue (TMFR) authorities, the brush fire started when a boat trailer traveling toward Sparks from Pyramid Lake popped a tire and created sparks.
