Living Stones Church in Reno is considering a move to a prime downtown location, the site of the former Century theater on the riverwalk. Executive Pastor Craig Parish shared the news on social media, expressing excitement about the potential opportunity.
“We’ve been given the unexpected opportunity to purchase a new building, just three blocks north of where we are now, right on the downtown riverwalk in the old movie theater,” said Parish. “At this point, no final decisions have been made; we are doing our due diligence to determine if this path forward is viable and if it’s right for the future of Living Stones.”
Parish outlined a vision for the new space, which includes more than just a church building. “We’re imagining an activated riverfront project alongside the church with possible things like a coffee shop, quick bites, retail, art gallery/workshop, preschool, anchor restaurant, and lots of other ideas floating around contributing to the flourishing of Reno physically, culturally, and spiritually,” he said…
