The Capital City Arts Initiative presents Fresh Air with Color, a group exhibition that honors four years of a plein air project, Watercolor Carson City.
The Fresh Air with Color exhibit will be in the community center’s Crowell Board Room through Sept. 25. CCAI will host an artists’ reception from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, with artists’ introductions at 5:30 p.m. The community center is located at 851 E. William St.
The 19 participating artists include JoAnn Carpenter, Kaz Chandler, Marguerite Crokus, Eileen Fuller, Kristi Grussendorf, Tom Howard, Leslie Kuhn, Shanae LaVelle, Laura Lawrence, Virginia McLaughlin, Joanna Murphy, Nancy Podewils-Baba, Colleen Reynolds, Anette Rink, Joyce Rossi, Lynn Schmidt, Keiko Tanabe, Shani Thompson and Judy Welsh.
