Boston the Arson Dog shares fire safety tips for pet owners

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Tuesday, July 15 is National Pet Fire Safety Day. So Monday, Captain Sean O’Brien from Reno Fire Department and Boston, RFD’s arson dog, stopped by Morning Break to share important safety reminders for pet owners.

Nearly 500,000 pets are affected by fire each year across the country, so Captain O’Brien shared how pet owners should prepare for their pets in the event of a fire like creating pet go-bags?
