The new Sprouts store was empty July 16, but the exterior looked finished on a plane of fresh asphalt, and the interior appeared to be waiting for finishing touches. Next door, people were entering and exiting the recently opened Planet Fitness.
The building shell of both outfits, enclosing more than 45,000 square feet, was constructed by Metcalf in the preceding months. Sprouts and Planet Fitness are located at 3193 Market St., between Walmart and Home Depot in north Carson City, in suites 110 and 120.
According to the Sprouts website, a grand opening for the store is planned for Sept. 5-7 with a ribbon cutting at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 5. Doors open on all three days at 7 a.m., and various promotions are planned for that weekend…
