Reno, Nev. – Showers and thunderstorms are making a rare July appearance in Reno today, creating slick roads and possible lightning delays through Saturday evening.
According to the National Weather Service, a 50% chance of scattered showers and storms will persist in Reno and surrounding Washoe County neighborhoods until about 8 p.m. tonight.
