A four-session course beginning in early August will offer area homeowners practical instruction on how to prepare for and reduce the risk of wildfire.
In a Facebook post, the Sparks Fire Department announced the course will be led by retired fire captain Bill Steward, who has more than 25 years of fire service experience.
