Nevada Weather Update: Reno to See Back-to-Back 90°F Days Through Wednesday

Reno, Nev. – Hot, dry days are settling over Reno as temperatures rise toward the low 90s and stay there through much of next week, creating elevated fire danger and health concerns for vulnerable residents.

According to the National Weather Service, highs will hit 89°F on Friday and Saturday, then climb into the low 90s by Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday peaking near 93°F. Winds Friday night may gust up to 20 mph, potentially increasing wildfire risk in already dry terrain.

Daytime conditions will remain sunny and clear across Washoe County, including Sparks and Sun Valley. Overnight lows will hover in the upper 50s, offering only limited relief from the daytime heat.
