Jeremy Renner donates rig to firefighters benevolent fund

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Actor and philanthropist Jeremy Renner donated an emergency response vehicle now called the Renner Memorial Fire Engine truck to the Professional Fire Fighters of Nevada (PFFN) Benevolent Fund at a transfer ceremony at the Renner Foundation office in Reno on Saturday, Aug. 2.

“It means giving hope and honor to our fallen firefighters. Those who risked their lives to save others,” said Foundation CEO and President Kym Renner to a crowd of 50 people. “They did that for him.”

She called the firefighters, who saved her brother’s life when he got run over by a snowcat on a treacherous New Year’s Day in 2023, the real-life superheroes…
