RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A new competition is rolling into Hot August Nights this year, giving custom car builders a chance to showcase their craftsmanship and compete for thousands in prize money.
The “Builders Showdown” opened Wednesday inside the Reno Events Center and Reno Ballroom, featuring professional and home builders from across the country. Vehicles range from garage projects to high-end custom builds, many with behind-the-scenes stories of “garage-to-glory” transformations.
