SPONSORED: Hot August Nights is getting underway in Reno and Sparks, so the RTC will provide free public transit on five of its routes. The free rides will be on the Virginia Line, Lincoln Line, and Routes 1, 7, and 11. All five routes run along Virginia Street or 4th Street and Prater Way. The free rides are available August 5-August 10.
“You can have a free ride from the Nugget to downtown Reno, or all the way from the North Valleys down to Meadowood Mall,” Alex Cruz, RTC Senior Transit Planner said. “The Virginia and Lincoln Lines stop every 10 minutes, so it’s an easy and convenient way to get around town.”
