The Reno Police Department released body camera footage from the Grand Sierra Resort shooting on Tuesday, showing the exchange of gunfire between officers and the suspected shooter.
Reno police and other agencies responded to the reports of gunshots shortly before 7:25 a.m. Monday, July 28. According to the report, police were on scene within two and a half minutes when they located the suspect, Dakota Hawver, a 26-year-old Reno resident.
