CARSON CITY, Nev. — The Carson City School District announced a successful and smooth start to the 2025-2026 school year, with students, parents, and teachers filling campuses with anticipation and excitement on the first day.
“The first week of school always brings incredible energy, and this year is no exception,” said Superintendent Andrew Feuling. “Over the summer, our team worked tirelessly to ensure every school is prepared to offer a safe, supportive and engaging place for learning. It’s truly inspiring to see our students and staff back in classrooms, ready to learn, grow and make this year exceptional.”
Several elementary schools, including Bordewich Bray, Empire, Fremont, Fritsch, and Mark Twain Elementary, hosted Back-to-School nights and open houses last week.
