Reno police have arrested a woman in connection with a 2024 fatal shooting at the El Tavern Motel.
Maria Rangel-Martinez, 29, was booked on suspicion of open murder with a deadly weapon and residential burglary, Reno police said Monday, Aug. 18.
Officers responded to the motel at 1801 W. Fourth St., west of Keystone Avenue, on Jan. 23, 2024, and found Anthony Jimenez, 38, with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died…
