After keeping things nice and dry across the area last weekend, the potential to see some wet weather this weekend is increasing. High pressure that’s stationed near the four corners is drawing in quite a bit of monsoonal moisture from Southern California. This moisture will continue to push into our direction, bringing shower chances to the area throughout the weekend into next week.
As far as your temperatures go, we’ll start things off nice and mild. Your Saturday day-planner shows a nice warm up, from about 69 degrees around 7 a.m., to the lower 90s by lunchtime.
Despite the increased shower chances, we’re still expecting temperatures to be in the upper 90s for this weekend. In Reno, our forecasted high temp for today is 97 degrees.
In South Lake Tahoe, today’s temperature is forecasted at 85 degrees. As monsoonal moisture continues to invade the region, temperatures will start to take a tumble. We’ll close out the weekend in the lower 90s, with the 80s back on the board by next Tuesday…
