Former Sundance Books mansion sold to personal injury law firm

The historic Reno mansion that housed Sundance Books and Music for over a decade has been sold to a personal injury law firm.

Rivera Law Group bought the Levy House, 121 California Ave., from the Nevada Museum of Art in August for $1.275 million, according to the Washoe County Assessor’s office. The sale was recorded on Aug. 13.

The fate of the Levy House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, had been in question since Sundance owner Christine Kelly retired. Sundance was in business for 36 years — the last 13 years at the Levy House — before closing last year in May…
