Reno City Hall to Host Training for Boards and Commissions on September 15

The City of Reno is opening its doors to members of its boards and commissions for a training session intended to bring clarity and consistency to its operations, this essential civic education will take place at the Council Chambers of Reno City Hall on September 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to an announcement on the City of Reno’s official website.

Changes that are recently introduced, which the city council approved last month streamline these civic groups under a new resolution, this consequently removed certain groups from the Reno Municipal Code and granted the City Manager’s Office oversight, a move aiming for standardization in their running.
