Northern Nevada, eastern Sierra air quality deteriorating due to massive Garnet Fire

The Garnet Fire burning in central California is causing air quality concerns in parts of northern Nevada and the eastern Sierra.

The fire, which broke out on August 24 after a lightning strike, has burned nearly 50,000 acres and is 14% contained as of Monday morning.
