Kaiser Permanente, Renown Health to join on new health plan, system

Kaiser Permanente will enter the northern Nevada market in 2026 thanks to an agreement with Renown Health to jointly own a health plan and new outpatient care delivery system in the region.

The two nonprofits have said they want to improve access and expand affordable care options in northern Nevada.

“Our mission calls us to bring high-quality, affordable health care and coverage to as many people and communities as we can,” said Greg A. Adams, chair and CEO of Kaiser Permanente. “Our members, employers, physicians and community members have been asking us to provide our unique offering of value-based care in Nevada for some time.”…
