Businesses donate $3,500 and essentials to help Reno sisters rebuild after house fire

Two Reno sisters, Susanne and Clarisse Robert, faced devastation at the end of July when a fire destroyed their home in Red Rock. The situation worsened when they discovered their homeowners insurance had been dropped a month prior due to their residence being in a fire zone, leaving them without coverage.

Currently, the Robert sisters are staying in a cabin on the same property as their burnt house. The cabin lacks running water, electricity, and insulation, forcing them to sleep on cots as they attempt to rebuild their lives.

This week, the sisters received an unexpected act of kindness from their community. United Nissan Reno, Dollar Loan Center, and Carson Mattress Outlet donated $3,500, along with two twin mattresses and bed frames.
