RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A Sun Valley couple in their 80s caring for their disabled adult daughter received a major boost Wednesday thanks to the efforts of volunteers and a national grant program.
Rebuilding Together Northern Nevada partnered with Wells Fargo to repair the family’s aging home, which had become increasingly unsafe after recent falls. Volunteers spent the day cleaning the yard, staining railings, installing gates and pathways, and fixing plumbing and appliances.
