6 Defendants in Reno High School Vandalism Case Appear in Court

(Reno, NV) — Six of the defendants charged on suspicion of vandalizing Reno High School earlier this year are facing a judge. The defendants, accused of damaging the high school in May, had a status hearing in Washoe District Court on Monday. One of the defendants was placed in handcuffs during the hearing, after testing positive for cocaine during a random screening. He will have to serve three days in jail. Two of the other defendants pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges related to the vandalism case. So far, there have only been not guilty pleas.
