LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Nevada drivers are preparing for an increase in gas prices as refinery maintenance in California is expected to reduce production, leading to higher costs at the pump.
Currently, the average price for a gallon of gas in Nevada is $3.92, marking a two-cent increase from last week.
John Treanor, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, said, “Up until today, Washington was the state with the most expensive gas for several days, surpassing California. Even though West Coast drivers are feeling pain at the pump, prices remain relatively low in the Plains and the South.”…
