Strong area of low pressure brings chances for rain and much cooler weather to our area

Northern Nevadans will be trading their summer clothes for sweaters this week as a large area of low pressure moves in from the west. This is a tall area of low pressure with the center moving towards the Pacific Northwest. Northern Nevada will get the southern end of the low along with shower chances and wind.

A couple fronts will move through this week, the first coming in on Monday. Highs on Monday will be in the mid 70’s, before dropping another five degrees on Tuesday. The low will be strong enough to tighten the pressure gradient and increase wind…..
