A bear has been making nightly visits to a pond in Southwest Reno, according to a local resident who recently captured the animal on a night camera.
The homeowner, who lives on the Steamboat Ditch below the Caughlin Ranch area off Royer Court, said the bear was spotted around 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 4. “I came eye to eye with the bear when I looked over the hedge into the area where the bear was,” the resident said. “We both looked at each other and ran the opposite way.”…
