RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The StoneGate development in northwest Reno, long envisioned as a sprawling residential community, is facing renewed uncertainty.
Originally approved in 2018, StoneGate was slated to include about 5,000 housing units, two elementary schools, a high school, and mixed commercial space. Developers have recently pushed for a dramatic change in direction, shifting from primarily residential to a more industrial focus.
