SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Sparks Police Department is asking for witnesses to a deadly shooting that occurred in September to come forward.
Authorities say the Sparks Police Department’s Detective Division is investigating the shooting that killed a man and injured a teenager. While several people have already been interviewed, police say they believe additional witnesses may have been present at the time of the shooting.
Sparks Police Department’s ShotSpotter system detected a gunshot in the 1400 block of Lorena Street around 1 a.m. on Sept. 21. Upon arrival officers located a 20-year-old man, identified as 20-year-old Bryan Garcia, with a gunshot wound in front of a residence.
