RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Elks Lodge is hosting their annual “Socktober” event.
They are asking for donations of new socks and underwear for those in need in our community. These donations can be shipped to the Elks Lodge, or dropped off at a few different schools:
- Damonte Ranch School
- Bishop Manogue Catholic High School
- Depoali Middle School
- Marce Herz Middle School
The socks will be distributed to several nonprofits in the area, including the women and children’s centers, Eddy House and veteran’s centers.
