Over the last several months, the Carson City Library has launched a new 2025 Community & Organizational Needs Assessment Survey, inviting residents, library users, and community stakeholders to help shape our next five-year strategic plan. Facebook
This survey, which takes about 20–25 minutes to complete, is a crucial step in updating the library’s direction. Facebook The feedback collected will directly influence priorities, services, facility planning, and how the library allocates resources to best serve Carson City through 2030.
Why This Strategic Plan Matters
A library’s strategic plan is more than a document on a shelf: it is the roadmap that ensures the library remains responsive, sustainable, and aligned with its core mission and vision. Over the past five years, the 2019–2024 strategic plan has guided the library’s investments in programs, infrastructure, community partnerships, and user experience.
