A Winter Weather Advisory is up for the Tahoe Basin and begins at 11 AM on Monday and goes through 11 AM Wednesday morning. Snow totals will range from a few inches at lake level to a foot at 7000’, and up to 2’ at the crest. The High Sierra in Mono County could see up to 3’ of snow by Wednesday. There will be travel impacts, especially at night when the ground will be cooler and snow will have an easier time sticking.
