Reno offers discounted trees to residents for energy savings

The City of Reno is once again offering a discounted tree sale to residents through the ReLEAF Reno program, in collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation’s energy saving trees initiative. This program aims to conserve energy and reduce energy bills through strategic tree planting. Thanks to generous donations to ReLEAF Reno, residents can reserve up to two trees at a subsidized cost of $35 each by visiting ArborDay.org/Reno. The trees will be available for pick-up at the City’s Idlewild Park Maintenance yard on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to noon.
