What began as a simple traffic stop early Monday morning turned into a major arrest for Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies.
Just after 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 13, deputies pulled over a vehicle near West 4th St. and Stoker Ave. in Reno after noticing it was driving with a headlight out and no license plates.
Inside, deputies found much more than a minor equipment violation. The search uncovered controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, a firearm with its serial number filed off, eight cans full of ammunition, several dangerous weapons, and burglary tools…
