RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Nevada State Climatologist Baker Perry says this storm we just saw was historical. It’s one of the top 3 biggest storms for the first half of October since 1981.
“It actually ranks third. And so there’s a lot of water in the snow up there. It’s a great start to the year,” says Perry.
He says this is happening because the climate is warming and creating the ability for more moisture in our atmosphere. He says this can produce numerus results.
