Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) has maintained its national accreditation status through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). The reaccreditation was announced on October 23, 2025. This status allows NNPH to continue providing public health services in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County for another five years.
Dr. Chad Kingsley, District Health Officer for Washoe County, said the reaccreditation reflects the ongoing work and improvement efforts of the NNPH team. He noted the organization’s focus on adapting to the changing needs of the community.
